At just over three metres in width, our proposal for this terrace renovation focused on true functionality of the home. A tight budget prioritised the heart of the house: the kitchen and dining areas nestled within a contemporary rear addition.

With next to no space for loose furniture, we wedged the dining table between the kitchen island and glazed wall. Externally, a custom folding table transforms the habitant’s ability to entertain – simply open up the sashless window and doors and the dining room extends out onto the deck, turning a table for four into a Table Fo(u)r Eight!
